John Rezaiyan, Associate

Rezaiyan is an international business executive with 40 years of technical and management experience in infrastructure project and technology development, implementation, and financing. John has worked in 35 countries and has extensive experience in energy sector conducting due diligence review, feasibility studies, and technology development and evolutions for mini-grid, renewable energy (i.e., solar, wind, biomass, biofuels, geothermal, hydropower), gas-to-power, coal-to-power, coal-to-liquids, and alternative fuels (i.e., ethanol, CNG), steel making, smart city, and CO2 capture and utilization projects. He has provided advisory services to Development Banks, U.S. and Foreign Government Agencies and utilities, and private sector clients including legal firms, banks, research institutes, and consulting and engineering firms. He has co-authored a major publication on gasification technology; conducted peer-reviewed technology assessments studies; and has been invited speaker at numerous conferences and workshops addressing structuring and financing of projects deploying new technologies. His writings are also featured in the Private Power Producer Handbook. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University of Maryland and has taken graduate level courses in Finance at University of Baltimore.
