On behalf of the U.S. Energy Association, Power Africa and the U.S. AID, Tuatara Group prepared and delivered a 10-day Financial Modeling for the Gas Sector Training Program for the Tanziania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC)  for 15 TPDC representatives. 

 

The purpose of the training was to assist attendees gain a greater level understanding of financial modeling methods and tools as TPDC evaluates the viability and implementation of gas projects in upstream (production), midstream (liquefaction), pipe (onshore and offshore), and localized use (power generation).

The Covid epidemic prevented in-person training so a virtual program was developed and delivered in local time. The 15 participants came from diverse educational backgrounds and represented various organizations within TPDC.

Tuatara assembled a multi-disciplinary team of trainers with deep experience in developing training programs as well as creating and using financial models in the oil and gas sector globally to deliver the training.
