Tuatara supported Thailand’s Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) in its effort to further liberalize and reform its natural gas market. Tuatara reviewed the Thailand natural gas Transportation Service Operator (TSO) Framework and other related documents; held several virtual meetings with ERC management and staff; compared TSO Framework and code and based on these reviews and its past practical experience in natural gas market regulatory reform and natural gas purchase and sale contracts recommended in actions for ERC’s consideration for a more effective transition to a liberalized natural gas market. Thre recommendations were presented in a formal report. 

 

Tuatara carried out this work under a sub-agreement with the U.S. Energy Association (USEA), through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR).
