About the U.S. - Africa Grid Resiliency Event Series

USTDA proudly presents the U.S.–Africa Grid Resiliency Event Series, a premier initiative designed to foster strategic partnerships between Sub-Saharan Africa's power sector leaders and top U.S. stakeholders. This series highlights cutting-edge U.S. technologies, services, and equipment that enhance electricity transmission and distribution networks. Key activities include three reverse trade missions—bringing African energy decision-makers to the United States to meet with industry leaders, explore innovative solutions, and build business relationships—and a high-impact workshop in Cape Town, South Africa, creating unparalleled opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

The U.S.–Africa Grid Resiliency Event Series is an opportunity for U.S. companies to showcase their state-of-the-art grid technologies and services to key decision-makers from Sub-Saharan Africa. These events will focus on solutions to manage the grid, reduce losses, increase efficiency, and integrate renewable energy.

During the reverse trade missions, African power sector leaders will travel to the United States to engage directly with U.S. companies, public agencies, and financial institutions. These meetings will highlight cutting-edge technologies, best practices, policy frameworks, and financing mechanisms, paving the way for resilient transmission and distribution projects across Africa.

The series will culminate in a dynamic workshop in Cape Town, South Africa, where U.S. companies will have the chance to network with African stakeholders, explore partnership opportunities, and discuss the tools and strategies needed to deliver transformative grid resiliency projects throughout the region. Don’t miss this chance to position your business at the forefront of Africa’s energy transformation.
