U.S. Shares Best Practices in Grid Modernization

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is hosting the Vietnam Power Transmission Modernization Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) to familiarize representatives from the Vietnam Electricity National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT with advanced U.S. technologies, best practices in  transmission modernization as well as live line maintenance and repair.

 

The program will examine various U.S. power transmission technologies, which will help modernize and improve the overall efficiency of Vietnam's transmission infrastructure as the country rapidly expands its electricity generation capabilities.   The delegates will travel to Washington, DC; Portland, OR and San Francisco, CA to meet with U.S. technology provides, utilities and public sector organizations.

The RTM will target EVNNPT's upcoming procurement and
investment plans, with a specific focus on U.S. providers' ability to deliver new technologies, upgrade old equipment, and assist with the maintenance and operation of existing infrastructure
