Ben Gyepi-Garbrah II, is a sustainable finance professional with over 25 years of project management, finance, and business development experience working with the world's leading financial institutions in the United States and Europe including The Capital Group, Capital Research and Management, Goldman Sachs and ING Group, where he has developed and initiated numerous transactions in The United States, Europe, and Africa.  Ben has served as an Enterprise Development Network Advisor (EDN) to the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC/DFC) and as a transaction adviser to the Development Bank of South Africa (DBSA) on utilizing securitization as a financing technology as well as introducing project bonds to finance the South Africa Gas-to-Power program.  Ben has advised the Ghana Ministry of Finances National Housing and Mortgage Fund on its Green/Sustainable Finance; has served as a subject matter expert for developing Ghana’s Country Financing Roadmap for the Sustainable Development Goals; and is contributing author to the Handbook on Franchising in Africa.   Ben is an Investment Committee member of a $200MM Africa Climate Private Equity Fund.  He is a Graduate of Middlebury College and also studied at Harvard Business School (Summer Ventures Program).
